What to do when you're experiencing connectivity problems with MT5.

"No Connection" in MT5

Step 1: Check your internet

  • Try opening a website in your browser

  • If your internet is down, switch to mobile data or contact your ISP

Step 2: Check NEOMAAA server status

  • Visit the NEOMAAA website to see if there are any service announcements

  • Check NEOMAAA's social media for maintenance updates

Step 3: Firewall and antivirus

  • Make sure MT5 is allowed through your firewall

  • Temporarily disable your antivirus to test if it's blocking MT5

  • Add MT5 to your antivirus whitelist

Step 4: Try a different server

  • In MT5, go to File → Login to Trade Account

  • Try an alternative server if listed

Step 5: Reinstall MT5

  • If nothing else works, uninstall and reinstall MT5

Frequent Disconnections

  • Use a wired ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi for stability

  • Close bandwidth-heavy applications (streaming, downloads)

  • Consider using a VPS for a stable, dedicated connection

  • Contact your internet provider if the issue persists

During Connectivity Issues

If you lose connection while you have open positions:

  • Your Stop Loss and Take Profit orders remain active on the server

  • Trailing Stops will NOT update (they run locally)

  • You can manage your positions from the MT5 mobile app on a different connection

  • Contact NEOMAAA Support if you need urgent help with a position
