Yes, news trading is permitted during the Evaluation Phase.
⚠️ However, for Funded Accounts, new rules apply:

Opening or closing trades within 5 minutes before and after red folder (high-impact) news events is not allowed.
Soft Breach Policy
If a Funded Account violates the news trading rule, the company may take one of the following actions:
Breach the account,
Reset the funded account.
The decision will be at the company’s discretion.
Effective Date:
This rule applies to new funded accounts created on or after September 24, 2025.
Legacy funded accounts are not affected.
